Vicki Irvin-Too Much Hate For No Reason!-Maryland Real Estate Investing

What a dreary day! But a little rain can never stop the show!

Did you watch the MTV video awards on Sunday? I tuned in as most people did to see if poor Britney Spears would have a great performance. I was sooooo sorry to see her stumble all the way through, she looked so distraught up on stage. I was personally in her corner hoping she would have a great come back. And now comes the backlash of having all the critics and comedians talk about how she failed. I put myself in her shoes for a moment and that made me feel even worse. She is a young woman who made some mistakes in the limelight and unfortunately, when you live in a world where many people want to see you fail, you have to be able to withstand that pressure. But many people cannot.

Besides being on the level of a Britney Spears or any superstar, there are people who want to see you fail on EVERY level. Why? I have no idea. Do you ever notice how when you and your friends had everything in common the friendship was great? Then if you did anything to better yourself whether it was spiritually or financially, or relationship-wise, that friendship started to change? And all you were probably looking for was someone to be happy for you and with you, but instead you get the opposite. Why is that? If someone is TRULY your friend they will always be happy for you. Feelings of envy are okay and natural, but when envy turns to jealousy that is when the problem occurs. As you well know, jealousy makes people insane. Envy means you admire what someone else has and wish you had it too, and envy is often the catalyst to someone stepping up their own game and that is a good thing.

What is even more amazing is that there have been studies done that show that many people shun success because of the reactions of their friends and families! There are actual people who do not want success because they are afraid of losing their friends and that people will think they have changed. Sounds crazy, right? But that is reality. A sad reality, but reality nonetheless. But you cannot live your life worrying about other people and their reactions to you. You will never be able to make everyone happy no matter what you do, no matter how hard you try to help them. NOTHING you do will ever be enough for everybody and so a better thing to do is surround yourself with people who have similar goals as you. People who help push you toward success and people you help support and push towards success. There is enough hatred in the world, everyone deserves to be happy and prosperous. So if you are a person who worries what others will think about you and your success, worry no more. I will most definitely support you!
