Vicki Irvin-Money Is Attracted To Speed! Maryland Real Estate Investing

Hope you enjoyed the long holiday weekend, I sure did! We had a blast at the Daytona 500, it was quite an experience. I never knew they drove around that track for as any hours as they did!

But I am now back to the real estate investing grind! I had my radio broadcast with Heaven 1580 this morning, which is always a lot of fun, and I have been communicating with my students who have deals on the table. One of the topics that keeps coming up is over-analyzing things. It is something that I have had to learn to stop myself from doing and it is something that I teach my students to stop doing. I think most humans play life “safely� and we are taught to read all the fine print and look before we leap. And while that is sound advice for some areas of our lives, it can cripple us in other areas when we need to make decisive action in order to be successful. Remember this…Money is attracted to speed. The speed in which we hop on a business or career opportunity can make all the difference on our return on investment. If we wait too long and think too hard on making that life altering career move, someone hungrier and more aggressive than us can sneak up behind and beat us to the punch!

Quick example for you…Do you really think the person who was fed up with how slow the mail was decided to create Fed EX was the first person to come up with that idea? Of course not. But, they WERE the person who actually acted on it and used fast implementation. Imagine how all the other people who “thought� about an idea like Fed Ex felt when it actually materialized. They had to have kicked themselves! My point is that, you cannot over analyze things to death or you will surely miss out on a lot of opportunities in life. I know that I personally missed out on lots of things I wanted to do waiting for the perfect moment….but I now know there is no perfect moment except the one that I create for myself!
