It’s the “I am a fraud syndrome” Vicki Irvin

I am LA bound next week to attend another fabulous James Malinchak event.  I decided while I am there to reserve some consulting days with some of my coaching clients on the West Coast, so this will be an action-packed trip indeed that I am looking forward to.  I got numerous responses to my announcement that Superwoman Lifestyle would be meeting Lifetime TV.  I promise to share more as soon as I can!

Only 30 days left in 2010! As you look back upon the year, can you honestly say you are happy with your progress? It doesn’t matter if you fell short of your goals, it matters that you moved toward them in some fashion or form.

Or is this another flop for you? Another year where you started out with big plans and a big bang only to fizzle out someplace down the line? Unfortunately this is a vicious cycle and pattern that many people fall into. Most of the time this pattern repeats itself until you realize you have to do something different from what you have been doing because….it ain’t working!

Being a solo-preneur does not mean that you have to do everything by yourself.  It means you have the ability to leverage other resources to assist you and you have the ability to learn from someone who holds you accountable, pushes you and forces you to “show up” and perform.

I received an email from someone who had a confession to make.  She said that she is sick and tired of giving her friends business advice when she isn’t using the advice herself in her own business.  She admitted that she talks a good talk, but at the end of the day, she is guilty of not applying the advice to her own business and quite frankly…she feels like a fraud.

I encouraged her to not be so down on or harsh on herself because she is not the only person living this reality, she was just fed up to the point she was ready to admit it to someone.

So many entrepreneurs know what to do, but have problems doing it. Implementation remains a struggle for many people, but look at it this way…It is better to do it NOW, proactively, before you HAVE to do it because you find yourself in a really tight spot that may be tough to get out of!

Don’t let people, time, fear, negativity or self-doubt stop you from living the life you were destined to live and from profiting from your true passions!

Purpose, Profit, Prosper in 2011!

Vicki
