Do You Have A Personality?

I just got back in town yesterday from a GREAT anniversary vacation that my husband Lloyd surprised me with. He invited our good friends Kim and Greg Davis who popped up in the airport and shocked me. I had no clue they were coming. We had a great time in Miami with the kids, relaxing by the pool most of the time. Group family vacations are a great time when you are in good company!

But I am back and ready for business today! Lloyd and Greg are hosting an event tonight at the Colony South hotel where Greg will be showing how collectively, all of his affiliates can have a million dollar day! Anyone who takes part in this event is in for a real treat, tonight they will unveil the blueprint on how to make it all happen!

Okay, so I want to know how you are communicating with your list? How often? What are you saying and what great content are you giving out? If you have a list of prospects and customers, they should always know that you are there and never forget about you. If you allow you them to forget you are there then you probably lost a sale.

Do your customers know anything about you? If not, they should. It is very important to infuse personality into your communications with your list. Research shows that people do business with people they like and can relate to. How often have you shopped around for something and made your final decision based on how the person made you feel? You do it all the time without even thinking about it…and that is how you should think about your customer base.

It is perfectly fine to tell things and stories about yourself and life to your clients. It makes you seem human and touchable and people like that. So whether you have a blog you write on, an ezine you send to your list, or whatever way you communicate, my challenge to you is for you to start revealing a more personal side of yourself and letting your customers and clients get to know you.

In addition, you should be communicating at least once per week, but probably even more. You should also be giving out great content and useful information that someone can actually take and use. If you are providing your audience great content and they unsubscribe from your list, then they probably aren’t the target client you are looking for anyway. Remember, you are only interested in communicating with someone interested in your services.

So this week, look at your communication frequency, what your message is, how you are saying it, and whether or not you have any personality in your writings. Tweaking these things will boost your sales immediately!

Okay, so I was in Miami for about a week. It is so easy to get sidelined with healthy eating and exercise when you are out of town. However, it is even easier to stay on track these days. Hotels serve healthy meals and so do the nearby restaurants. And of course hotels have gyms. I did pretty good by ordering egg while omelets and eating oatmeal for breakfast. I allowed myself one cheat meal per day. And I got up early in the morning to hit the gym so that I wouldn’t take any time away from my vacation. Doing that allows you to not feel that guilt. The key to healthy living is balance. You don’t have to kill yourself every day, but you should dedicate time to making sure that you take care of your health by eating right and getting your blood pumping.

It is now July and the summer will be over before you even know it. Will you look back at this summer and realize you didn’t do anything for yourself? I surely hope not. A Superwoman like yourself often gets caught up in nurturing everyone else and not taking time for themselves and we can’t have that. Summer is a perfect time to pamper yourself, even if it is just a manicure and pedicure. Gather a group of your friends together, set a date and go nurture yourself for a few hours. You will feel better instantly!
